● Prevent metal from rusting
Rust is mainly caused by the combined action of moisture, oxygen, and corrosive substances in the air. Therefore, for cars that are not driven for long periods, the metal surfaces should be kept clean. The garage where the vehicle is parked should be kept well-ventilated, maintaining the relative humidity of the air below 70%. Dust, dirt, and moisture on the car should be removed in a timely manner. For parts and surfaces prone to rust, apply engine oil or grease, or wrap them with oiled paper. Pores on various assemblies and mechanisms should be sealed to prevent air, moisture, and dust from entering.

● Prevent rubber products from aging and deteriorating
Cushions and carpets easily absorb moisture. Especially in humid areas and during rainy seasons, they are more prone to dampness and mold. Therefore, car owners should frequently check the cotton and linen products in the car, air them as needed, and keep them dry.
● Frequently check the engine's operating conditions
Start the engine at least once a month and let it idle for 4-5 minutes to check the engine's operation. If any abnormal phenomena occur, adjustments or repairs should be made promptly. In addition, the battery should be checked regularly. The electrolyte level of the battery must be 10-15mm above the plates. If it is insufficient, distilled water should be added in time, the battery should be kept fully charged, and it should be charged when necessary.
