Use and Maintenance of Car Air Dryers

1. When assembling or replacing, pay attention to the connection of the intake and exhaust ports. If installed incorrectly, the dryer will not work; 2. When assembling or replacing the product, attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the pipes, otherwise impurities may cause gas leaks; 3. The drying tank should be replaced once a year. If the air in the environment contains too much dust and moisture, the replacement cycle must be shortened. Regularly check for accumulated water in the tank (recommended once a month). If there is serious water accumulation in the tank, the drying tank must be replaced. The method for replacing the drying tank: a. Remove the old drying tank, clean the connecting bolts and valve body; b. Apply an appropriate amount of grease to the sealing fitting area between the new drying tank and the valve body, and apply thread locking sealant to the fitting area between the new drying tank and the connecting bolts; c. Screw the new drying tank onto the valve body, with a maximum tightening torque of 15Nm; 4. Other parts of this product, except for the drying tank, are not allowed to be disassembled at will by users; 5. During the third-level maintenance of the vehicle, disassembly, cleaning, organization, and replacement of consumables should be carried out by professional technicians; 6. To ensure that the dryer has good drying performance, the connection between the air compressor and the dryer should use metal pipes and be kept over 5m to prevent the rubber parts inside the dryer from failing prematurely due to excessively high gas temperatures. The temperature at the intake should not exceed 65 degrees.
